The first few days at The Peace Centre, with Maria Reich

First hour after registration! All children received a bag thanks again to Converse for donating these!), some clothes and a blanket for their first night. Some already looking happy (and believe me, it's not always easy to get Ugandans to smile for a photo!)

All of them seemed really happy already on their first day!

No electricity as the electricity is cut almost every night from 6pm.

TPC opened the doors to the orphans on Feb 2nd 2015, and Feb 3rd 2015 they were already going back to school!

Some of the girls’ rooms (we have 5 rooms for girls, 5 for boys).
Some children were brought to the Centre with no belongings whatsoever :O(
