What is The PEACE Programme?
There are a great many orphans in Bukinda and surrounding areas that have some kind of caregiver - a distant aunt or uncle perhaps - but still do not have access to education or to the most basic essentials. They often end up spending their days working the fields and can easily get dragged into dangerous social circles. They are extremely vulnerable.
We know that continued education is the key to future opportunities and successes, and this is the foundation upon which The PEACE Programme has been built.
The PEACE Programme provides extremely needy children with access to education. Where the child and the family both want for that child to attend school, we provide school fees and a school uniform. In return, the child must maintain a minimum attendance at school and gain a minimum score each term.

How can you help?
Put simply, all donations will go directly towards providing education to impoverished and orphaned children who have been out of school and for whom this is their only chance to make a go of it. There is no relational commitment for The PEACE Programme, but if you are able to make a regular financial commitment, no matter how small, it is more beneficial for the sustainability of the programme than a one-off donation.
