It is SOOOOOOOO exciting to be able to share with all of you that WORK HAS BEGUN on the build site! This is a day that we have been waiting a looooong time for, so it is brilliant to be able to show you pictures! 

As you can see, we are starting by digging up the foundations, obviously an important start for any building. I love the picture below that shows the goats grazing on the build site and just taking it all in. 

This is where we will be working for 2 weeks this summer!

We will try and post regular updates of the site as it develops and grows! 

We managed to complete the Puma JinQiao 8K on Sunday all dressed up in ridiculous outfits! Fortunately it was drizzling which meant it was not as hot as it might have been. We have raised over RMB 4000 from this event, so thank you to all who have donated so generously! 

A group of us will be running the Puma JinQiao 8K run on Sunday as a fundraiser for the Peace Centre. 8K would obviously be too easy to just run sensibly (ahem!) so to spice up the challenge a little we're dressing up :)
